Sat 2nd XI start SNCL at new boys Silverstone A
Local derbies galore for Willoughby A in 2018
A new season, a new captain and a drop down in division but with plenty of local derbies to look forward makes the new season an exciting prospect for Willoughby’s 2nd XI.
With Badj Rahman in as skipper, the Saturday 2nds begin their season with trips to new boys Silverstone A (28th April) and Thornborough A (5th May), before hosting Woodford Halse (12th May) and neighbours Dunchurch & Bilton A (19th May).
These come ahead of the first of three encounters during the season – two of those away – at fellow neighbours Flecknoe; the first meeting being up the road and to be played over the Whitsun bank holiday on Saturday 26th May.
The other set of local derbies - with Braunston Paddox's newly-created A side/2nd XI - comes in consecutive weeks on Saturday 9th and 16th June.
