From the weekend...

1st team had a wasted journey down to Charlton as on arrival they were greeted with the pitch you see on the picture attached.

The umpires rightly deemed said 'prepared pitch' unplayable and our boys headed home. More to come on this most probably in due course.

At least at The Green the 2nds got started, albeit if they were to be thwarted and frustrated by the rain against neighbours Fleckoe

The prospects of a win looked good with the visitors at 83-8 when the rain came, and then the rain did come with hail; so much so that no further play was possible and the match was abandoned after an early tea.
