Martin's Cricket Club are a team started by the vicar of St Martin's in the Bullring in Birmingham in about 1920.
Some bugger went and built a bloody great shopping centre on their pitch in the 1960's and since then they have been a nomadic team...
A good natured match was enjoyed by all in unseasonally warm September weather. Martin's set 158 and Willoughby got them with 2 balls to go and 1 wicket to spare. A jolly good game.
Unusually, all 11 Willoughby players got a bat AND a bowl.
Ash Rayner batted twice having retired on 50 he was forced to come back out to hit the winning runs...
