WCC Ladies Awards
In stark contrast to their male counterparts, Willoughby Ladies Tip & Run squad had a really great season with only one loss throughout the season.
As joint captain Clare Howkins explained, the girls batted and bowled well but it was their fielding that seemed to clinch the wins, with everybody very committed and keen to win.
Louise Bowcott was best batter with an average of 45.2 runs which was a great achievement as she is nearly always in the opening 3 batters.
Valerie Hall was best bowler taking 9 wickets including a caught & bowled.
Player's players was Louise Bowcott; she had a great season as wicket keeper with lots of stumpings and that brilliant batting average.
Gemma & Clare have enjoyed being joint captains and understandably hope to continue in the same winning form next year.
