Saturday’s local derby in Dunchurch saw a comfortable win for Willoughby which cemented their mid table position and plunging the hosts further into relegation trouble.
 
The visitors batted first and set a useful target with skipper Martin Nichols leading the way making 70. Graham Hallam added 39 and James Barnwell 22 as Willoughby closed their innings on 189 for 6; Jack Coleman returning figures of 3 for 59 for Dunchurch & Bilton.
 
In reply, D & B were skittled out for 86 with only Sanjeev Guri (29) making any sort of impression on the innings; this in the face of a Willoughby attack which saw John Gregson return 3 for 14, Tom Hill  3 for 27, and Dave Alcock 2 for 11 as the visitors took the day’s honours by a resounding 103 run margin.
