A half century from in-form Stuart Hall and a four wicket haul for John Gregson set a weakened Willoughby on their way to a useful home success over Fenny Compton.
 
Hall hit 53 and with Graham Hallam adding 48, Willoughby batting first on a damp pitch at The Green set the visitors a target of 180 to reach from their 40 overs.
 
However Fenny were well short in the final shake-up as they were undone by the bowling attack of the hosts. Gregson taking the lion’s share of the wickets returning figures of 4 for 22, with Dave Alcock (2-14), James Barnwell (2-16),  Bhavik Solanki (2-27) also getting in on the act.
