No such joy for Willoughby A on their travels as they were comfortably beaten at one of the division’s pacesetters, Croughton.
 
After choosing to bat on what transpired to be not the best of wickets, the visitors managed to reach only 96-8 from a rain reduced 36 overs. Skipper Karl Harland again top scoring for Willoughby with 35 in the face of Croughton’s opening bowlers Rashid Mehmood (3-24) and Clive Atkins, (1-11) applying the pressure, the latter only conceding 11 runs off his 10 overs,.

In reply, despite losing a couple of early wickets, Imran Hussain (52 not out) and Ian Skuce (15 not out) saw Croughton to a comfortable 7 wicket win.
