Willoughby Cricket Club are always welcome for new players and social members to join.
 
So, if you are interested in joining either the senior and junior teams on the field, why not get in touch and come and get involved with us.
As well as the playing side, there is always a lot going on; with Monday Night Net Sessions/Social Bight, drinks after every game - home or away (we have our own bar!), regular club social and fundraising nights including BBQs, players' nights out, a Club Day Out to a First Class fixture, and for 2012 will again have our Annual Tour in September.
 
For juniors, we run teams at Under 13 and Under 15 level (playing in the Rugby and District Cricket League), plus for 2012 will for the first time field a team at Under 11 level.
There is also weekly coaching and practice sessions, plus Kwik Cricket nights and mornings, the club's annual Single Wicket competiton (which is played for by the youth cricketers), a now-annual Parents v Kids Challenge Match & BBQ, + other social events.
 
So a lot always going.. both on and off the field!
 
In addition to playing members, the club is always interested to welcome off-field social members and volunteers.
 
With one of the best grounds and peaceful surroundings to watch cricket in the local area , either take one of the many seats and benches to the ground's perimeter, or if it's cold, take a seat  and watch play from the comfort of The Long Room. Plus you can enjoy a drink with the club bar - Jean's Tavern' at your disposal.
