Hinton in the Hedges (206 for 4 – 20 pts) beat Willoughby (70 all out – 2 pts) by 136 runs

Another poor batting performance from Willoughby saw them fall to a second successive heavy SNCL defeat.

Visitors Hinton-in-the-Hedges batted first and set a good target for the hosts to chase. Andy Stevens with 85 and Mark Mounsdon with 44 the highlights of their 206 for 4, as no home bowler could make much of an impression.

In reply, only skipper Stuart Hall showed any sort of resistance with the bat. He top scored with 23 as Willoughby were bowled out for a meagre 70, in the face of Paul White taking 6 for 31, as Hinton ran out winners by a massive 136 runs.
