Willoughby CC does Natwest Cricketforce 2018 - *now Sat 31st March*

News has filtered through that our planned Natwest Cricketforce 2018 event has been postponed and put back a week until Saturday 31st March.

It has hardly been ideal weather of late and with ground conditions at The Green very wet underfoot - and unlikely to dry significantly before this weekend due to more snow over the weekend and a subsequent predicted thaw - the decision has been made to put our 'spring clean' back a week.

The club's annual get together to spring clean the pavilion inside and tidy the ground and surrounding areas outside in preparation for the new season is part of the national ECB Natwest Cricketforce initiative.

This event has always drawn a great turnout from club members, players [both young and old], parents, officials and other club associates for a morning of completing various jobs and generally getting The Green in shape and ready for the busy season ahead.

Despite this year's event being put back - and to what will be Easter Saturday - we hope you will be able to attend.
